* Learn how this trade agreement will benefit your community, your industry and your State
* In addition to U.S. manufacturing and services, this trade agreement will also have a beneficial impact on U.S. farmers and ranchers; enhanced protection of intellectual property rights; opportunities in telecommunications and government procurement in Colombia; and new jobs and businesses for U.S. small and medium enterprises.

What about Colombian products into the United States? Do you have a “list” of products that would enter duty free to the States?
Please go to the following website http://export.gov/fta/ftatarifftool/TariffResults.aspx?PortType=Import&Partner=15&HS=
Our understanding is that 99% of Colombian qualifying industrial and textile goods are now duty free. 89% of Colombian agricultural goods are also now duty free. Duties on many other tariff lines will be phased out over a period of up to 15 years, with some agricultural tariff rate quotas. While Colombia is expected to fill its new sugar TRQ, the FTA is likely to have a minor effect on U.S. imports and production of sugar and sugar containing products.
I’ve read some excellent stuff here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to make one of these excellent informative web site.

How does this agreement affect the shipment of personal items (specificaly, a used computer) from the USA to a university student in Colombia.
Personal items are not ruled by the FTA.
